About Me

Well now! Here is where we all get to learn about Ash, the owner of this page!

My name is Ashley. I was born, raised and still reside in Phoenix, Arizona. I am a certified 1990's kid!

I love new gadgets. that is, when I have not just bought one and they roll out the new version the next day..... -.-

I am interested in becoming a Veterinarian, specializing in Gliders and other small animals. There aren't many here who actually own them nor are there many vets who are compassionate and won't charge you your first born for a neuter. I am very passionate about my animals and I take great pains to ensure they are healthy. I would like to do the same for others. Many people tell me that I have the right knack for it, so why not?!

As if you couldn't tell, I sew... I sew a LOT!!! I use a Brother SE-400 and it with all the abuse I give it, it treats me ohhh soooo good!!! LoL!!! I have been looking into making my own clothing for quite a while and now that I have the patterns I need, I will be moving forward with that as well! Perhaps, we will see a custom clothing page for My Spoiled Sugars? Bwahahaa!!!!

I am very interested in natural healing. I have always detested the pill, which fixes one thing, but brings on 10 others. Right? There are healthier alternatives to treating illnesses and the abundance of this world’s one pill fix astounds me. There are other ways to treating things.

One thing you will see in the MySpoiledSugars 'just for humans' page are sculptures that I create using sculpey clay. I take much care to make each piece a work that will be close to the heart forever. I only make them once a year and on special order, so keep those eyes peeled for the leftover holiday stragglers! ;)

Am I killin' ya yet? I paint! I love to paint and while I paint, I oddly, enjoy listening to the Harry Potter Audio books. Yes, I know, I know. But hey! At least we know that great glider paintings come out of it, right? Along with the painting, of course, I draw! I was out of the loop for quite some time, but once I met my other half Sal, i got back in it. Once I got gliders, my focus went from trying to figure out WHAT to draw, to gliders! This benefits you, since you can buy these nifty drawings when I put them up! ;)

Another hobby of mine is writing. I write songs, poems and short stories. I have been known to write short articles and ads for people’s webpages, and a few things for the local newspaper. For those songs, I have a guitar that I can’t play worth a darn. My hand can’t fret! Makes me sad, but I suppose having a keyboard and a Mac helps... I would prefer it if I could do my own stuff via guitar, but oh well! One of these days, I will master it!!!

Well, off to sew some more!!!!

Happy Gliding!!!!
